If you wish, you can enable or disable the autocomplete and the inline autocomplete features in Internet Explorer as well as Windows Explorer too. Not a real fan of Vista so far, but this has been the most annoying issue to date. Sometimes the setting gets changed and all you have to do is enable the option again.
