I have a fresh install of Apache 2.4.6 running, and I'll I've done is enable the rewrite and vhost_alias mods. The homepage loads great, until I realized that my mod_rewrites in my .htaccess file weren't working. Either "httpd.conf" or -in my case- "apache2.conf" is Apache's main config file (found at /etc/apache2/). I also tried this: order deny,allow deny from all But every page still loads just fine.
